Running back is one of the Browns' few areas of strength, but that won't stop the team's brass from thoroughly researching the position as it prepares for the April 27-29 draft.
The Browns are hosting Florida State running back Dalvin Cook on a pre-draft visit Monday, according to NFL Network. Cook is a projected first-round pick.
Browns coach Hue Jackson said the organization declined to draft a running back last year, when it picked 14 players, because it felt comfortable with the tandem of Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson.
Jackson explained last month at the NFL Scouting Combine he's even more comfortable with Crowell and Johnson now than he was in 2016, though he also wouldn't rule out upgrading running back.
