CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Atlanta Falcons are pursuing Browns center Alex Mack, and the Browns have expressed interest in his possible replacement, Jaguars center Stefen Wisniewski, league sources told cleveland.com.
Mack, who voided the final three years of his contract last week, would be reunited in Atlanta with former Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who coached him in 2014.
Several other teams are expected to express serious interest in Mack, 30, as well. The Browns want to re-sign him, but only at the right price. He stands to become the highest-paid center in the NFL and the first one to average $10 million a year.
