With the importance of the passing game in the NFL, it is not surprising that Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry has invested a lot in pass catchers. Since taking over the Browns roster, Berry has drafted six wide receivers including one in each of his five NFL drafts.
Cleveland’s top three receivers going into the 2024 season were acquired via trade, “cheap” ones by most accounts, with Amari Cooper entering his third season, Elijah Moore his second and Jerry Jeudy the newest trade acquisition this offseason.
Berry has also extended TE David Njoku and signed TE Jordan Akins to help the passing game.
