DETROIT, Mich. -- In his first game since the Browns tried to trade for AJ McCarron, DeShone Kizer was busy showing Hue Jackson that he didn't need to call upon an old friend to run his offense effectively.
Unfortunately for Kizer, he had to leave Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Lions with a rib injury in the second half, and by the time he came back in, the game was over.
It was 24-24 when he took a hard shot to the ribs by Quandre Diggs with six seconds left in the third quarter and had to leave the field.
