Deshaun Watson shined at the NFL’s annual scouting combine earlier this month.
The Clemson quarterback and potential first-round draft pick on Thursday wanted to let teams know he can still get better during his on-campus Pro Day.
Watson, widely considered one of the top three signal-callers in this year’s class, told NFL Network’s Mike Mayock he came into the event focusing on the little details of playing quarterback.
“Honestly, the only thing I was trying to show was me using my back hip, not over-striding, not letting my chest get out in front,” he said. “More air on the deep balls and just working under center … I felt comfortable, I felt solid and hopefully today went well.
