Dallas police have yet to interview soon-to-be former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel as they determine whether to charge him for allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley on Jan. 30, but they hope to wrap up their ongoing investigation as soon as possible.
During a news conference Saturday afternoon, Maj. Midge Boyle said detectives have continued to communicate with Crowley, received medical records from her, spoken to witnesses and obtained video from surveillance cameras.
“Detectives are continuing with their efforts to fully investigate the facts of this case,” Boyle said as she read from a prepared statement. “As this remains an ongoing investigation, no details of the investigation will be released at this time.
