When Andrew Berry took over as the Cleveland Browns general manager, it was well-known that his first priority would be to improve the offensive line. Berry had options in both free agency and the draft, but he took his first opportunity to add a lineman by signing Jack Conklin.

It did not take too long after the NFL's legal tampering period started on Monday when the Browns came to an agreement with Conklin. After agreeing to a three-year, $42 million deal, Conklin will be Cleveland's starting right tackle for at least the next three seasons.
