Daily Dawg Tags: Former WR Mohamed Massaquoi reveals devastating injury

Mohamed Massaquoi, who played wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns for four seasons, revealed on Monday that he had his left hand amputated in April of 2017.

Massaquoi made the revelation in a video posted on The Players’ Tribune website.

The 31-year-old former wide receiver was injured while trail riding with friends on an ATV. After taking a turn too sharply, his ATV rolled over and injured his left hand. He was taken to at hospital at the University of Georgia where doctors tried to save his hand, but he eventually lost all four fingers on the hand.
