The Cleveland Browns started their 2019 campaign with a victory in their preseason opener, defeating the Washington Redskins 30-10. And the victory was a great sign for the Browns because of how well the team played for all 60 minutes.
Most of the Browns starters on both sides of the ball played for only one series, but the second and third teams did not let up the pressure on the Redskins. In fact, the intensity seemed to step up once Cleveland’s reserves entered the game.
That should be a common theme for all 32 teams because the reserves are trying to solidify a spot on rosters.
