The Cleveland Browns were quiet during the trade deadline and did not decide to make any trades. That was a similar theme around the league, as there was only one trade completed on Tuesday between the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Rams.
But even though the Browns decided to stand pat on Tuesday, a previous trade by the Browns influenced the one deal made at the deadline. The trade by the Miami Dolphins was straight out of the Sashi Brown tanking playbook.
The Dolphins acquired cornerback Aqib Talib and a fifth-round pick from the Rams, sending only a seventh-round pick in return.
