Following the Cleveland Browns hiring of Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach this offseason, Stefanski took a deliberate approach to hiring his coaching staff. However, one of the first reported hirings by Stefanski was the addition of Chad O'Shea as the wide receivers coach.
O'Shea had just been let go by the Miami Dolphins after one season as their offensive coordinator. Stefanski had familiarity with O'Shea as he coached three seasons with O'Shea from 2006-2008 in Minnesota.
O'Shea built a solid coaching reputation in Minnesota after being the Vikings wide receivers coach and offensive assistant.
