BEREA, Ohio - The Browns are working with the city of Columbus to move most of training camp there by 2018, a Browns spokesman confirmed.
The Browns will contribute $5 million to the project, which would involve building a new recreation center at Tuttle Park, just north of the Ohio State campus.
If all goes as planned, the Browns will hold about three weeks of camp in Columbus and about a week in Berea so Northeast Ohio fans can continue to attend, Browns spokesman Peter John-Baptiste told cleveland.com. The Browns will also open other practices to fans, such as a day of rookie minicamp, possibly at FirstEnergy Stadium again.
