Last season, the Cleveland Browns saw just how impactful rookies could be. They entered the year with high hopes for their 2018 draft class and they surely weren’t disappointed. Not only did they get solid work from players such as Denzel Ward, who they expected to start, but they also saw players they didn’t plan on being starters like Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb rise to the occasion.
In fact, the Browns ended up with 11 NFL Rookie of the Week honors out of those three picks. Ward started this off the parade of accolades by earning the honor in Week 1 for playing well against Antonio Brown.
