Sitting at 2-5 heading into their eighth game of the season, the Cleveland Browns desperately need a win to try and salvage a season that started out with so much promise.
They will be on the road facing a team that has also struggled thus far as they’re visiting the 2-6 Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High. Cleveland traveled there late in the 2018 season and was able to secure a 17-16 win over the Case Keenum-led Broncos.
In this meeting, they’ll face a new signal-caller as Keenum is now in Washington. He was replaced by Joe Flacco but a neck injury sent the former Baltimore Raven to the sideline and now Brandon Allen will be making his first career start.
