COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns' training camp will remain in Berea – at least for this year, anyway.

The organization announced Thursday it has no intention of moving camp in 2016 from its Berea training grounds, where it's been held since 1992.

The Browns and the Columbus Partnership have asked the state to help pay $5 million to build a practice facility in the state capital that also would be used by college teams and community youth programs.

The plan was first reported by cleveland.com's Brent Larkin on Thursday morning. It's one of the projects the Columbus Partnership wants funded in the biennial state capital improvements bill, scheduled to be introduced in late March or early April.
