Cleveland Browns trading Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville Jaguars

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly trading running back Carlos Hyde to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the trade, citing an unnamed source:

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network followed that up with a Tweet saying the Browns will receive a fifth-round draft pick back from the Jaguars:

Hyde signed with the Browns in the offseason as a free agent after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers.

In his short stint in Cleveland, Hyde proved effective at finding the end zone - he has five rushing touchdowns on the season, only three off his career high - but has averaged just 3.
