Brock Osweiler announced his retirement from the NFL today, ending the career of the man once expected to replace Peyton Manning in Denver. He also spent time with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, and of course, the Cleveland Browns during his short career.
He wasn’t with Cleveland for long, but he left a lasting legacy with the team that took on his contract in 2017.
After signing a massive contract with the Houston Texans in 2016, Osweiler was sent to the Browns along with a second-round pick and sixth-round selection in exchange for a fourth-round compensatory pick.
