CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns are traveling across the pond to host the Minnesota Vikings at London's Twickenham Stadium in either Week 7 or Week 8 of the 2017 season, the NFL announced Tuesday.
It means they'll have only seven regular season home games at FirstEnergy Stadium next season instead of eight. The exact date of the London game, either Oct. 22 or Oct 29, will be announced in the Spring when the NFL releases it's full schedule.
"The NFL is commendably dedicated to developing football at all levels within the United States and throughout the globe, and we share in that commitment to help make our game as great as possible and the opportunities to bring it to more people, both within our community and in other regions," Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam said in a release.
