When Josh Gordon is on the field, he is one of the NFL’s top-flight receivers. Able to take over a game practically by himself, Gordon is a freak of nature, and should be a top option for any team in the league. The only problem is, he’s never on the field.
Gordon has played 11 games since 2013, and has only recorded 43 receptions and two touchdowns in that time. After a litany of suspensions, failed drug tests, and simply being a burden, the Cleveland Browns have finally decided they are done with Josh Gordon.
News broke Monday that the Browns would officially be trading Gordon to the AFC North.
