The Cleveland Browns organization has made it a focus to provide as much as help as possible to Baker Mayfield as he develops in the NFL, and the hiring of Ryan Lindley is just more proof of that.
The Browns hired Lindley as the running backs coach to replace Freddie Kitchens, who is now the offensive coordinator following the firing of Todd Haley.
Kitchens was the quarterbacks coach for the Arizona Cardinals from 2013-2016. Lindley was with the Cardinals for two seasons when Kitchens was the quarterbacks coach, so the two have experience with each other.
