The Cleveland Browns may not have had a first round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, but they selected a player who many saw as a first-round prospect in cornerback Greedy Williams.
Williams took a curious fall in the draft after being projected to be one of the first three cornerbacks selected in the draft. Despite a run on cornerbacks in the second round, Williams’ name still sat on the board.
Instead of waiting to see if Williams fell to the No. 49 selection, the Browns and general manager John Dorsey decided to trade up three selections to draft the LSU cornerback.
