At 6-9, the Cleveland Browns really have very little to play for outside of personal pride in Week 17. For quarterback Baker Mayfield and head coach Freddie Kitchens, that's enough.
Mayfield recently said he wants to finish the season strong and considering how much he has struggled this year, a little confidence boost would be a good thing for him — and the team.
Entering the final game of 2019, Mayfield has 3,548 yards passing with 19 touchdowns and 18 picks. It's far from an ideal stat line and part of the reason the team has struggled.
