Alex Van Pelt spoke to the media this week for the first time since taking over as the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator. He stated that while he is capable of play-calling it has not yet been decided if he will do so or not. Regardless of that, Van Pelt will have a lot of work to do as this offseason moves along.
First and foremost he needs to do everything in his power to get Baker Mayfield playing at a high level. This is a quarterback-driven league, and we as Browns fans know all too well that poor quarterback play usually equates to many losses.
