An interesting theory recently popped up in regards to the Cleveland Browns last game — yes, we want to move on, but this caught our eye. This theory surrounds the shocking draw play on fourth-and-nine in the loss to L.A.
Freddie Kitchens took the blame for this, as the head coach said the infamous fourth-down draw play was on him. However, an article on WKYC recently popped up where they’re asking if the play was actually an audible called by Baker Mayfield.
If so, that means Kitchens had no problem falling on the sword to protect his quarterback — which is an admirable trait in a head coach.
