The Cleveland Browns were missing a lot of things in 2019 that they had shown in the final stretch of the year before. Possibly the most glaring was the playmaking in the back end of their secondary.
In 2018, both Damarious Randall and Jabrill Peppers were playing very well — and Randall was showing off his ability to take the ball away. The following season, Peppers was traded away in the Odell Beckham deal and Randall was unable to repeat the success he had in his first year in Cleveland.
