It was a frustrating game for fans as they watched the Cleveland Browns defense rise to the occasion despite being severely shorthanded. Facing one of the best offenses in the game without four starters in the secondary, the Browns somehow held the Los Angeles Rams to 20 points.
They slowed down Todd Gurley and even forced a few turnovers on quarterback Jared Goff. Due to their play, it gave Cleveland a shot late but they were unable to complete the comeback and lost 20-13.
Cleveland’s offense was clearly to blame as they have been struggling mightily so far this season — something that was predicted by former NFL quarterback and current CBS broadcaster Tony Romo before the season began.
