A loss in Week 8 to the New England Patriots hurt but the silver lining for the Cleveland Browns was the ‘easier schedule’ that they were about to get into. With only two teams left to face with winning records, the Browns hoped to make a run and get back into the AFC North race.
That clearly isn’t happening as they were knocked off once again, this time by the Denver Broncos who were led by Brandon Allen, a quarterback make his first ever start.
Even worse than the loss was the ugliness surrounding the team. They had several miscues, including Baker Mayfield not looking Odell Beckham‘s way with the game on the line.
