The Cleveland Browns have been seemingly in and out of the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes for nearly the entire offseason. At first the Browns were perceived as the favorites to sign Clowney, then they seemed like they were out of the race to sign Clowney.
After it was reported Clowney did not want to be in Cleveland, that made it appear Cleveland had no chance to land the 27-year-old. However, now it seems like the Browns are right back in the race, especially if Clowney decides to sign a one-year deal.
Clowney's decision may last until all the way until training camp, giving several teams the opportunity to make an offer the edge rusher cannot refuse.
