When turning on a Cleveland Browns radio broadcast, play-by-play announcer Jim Donovan attracts the most attention from fans due to his passion for the team.
But right next to him on the broadcast is Doug Dieken, a former offensive lineman who played his entire 14-year career with the Browns.
But once Dieken retired from playing, he joined the Browns radio broadcast and has been in the booth ever since. Unlike most former players, Dieken has remained in Cleveland for most of his life.
Despite not being from Cleveland, Dieken has become a regular in the city, despite not always getting the recognition that he deserves.
