During his rookie season, Jabrill Peppers had a hard time playing safety for the Cleveland Browns. A lot of that had to do with him being played out of position as defensive coordinator Gregg Williams played the former Michigan linebacker deep as a free safety.
He’s since moved to a strong safety role and has been playing better. It hasn’t helped completely as he’s still a work in progress. He also hasn’t endeared himself completely to a sports city he called “wishy-washy.”
PArt of what he thinks the problem is for him in Cleveland is the fact he played collegiately at Michigan.
