On Tuesday Night, the Cleveland Browns found out they will be having a couple of players named to the Pro Bowl as Myles Garrett and rookie Denzel Ward were chosen for the all-star event.
Outside of those two, there were six other Browns named as alternates. Whether it be for injury or playing in the Super Bowl, several players skip out on the festivities every season which opens the door for players like Baker Mayfield who made the list as a backup option.
For the rookie quarterback, it’s quite an honor as his former head coach — Hue Jackson — seemed to be of the belief that all rookie quarterbacks were better off holding a clipboard.
