Cleveland Browns make a pair of minor roster moves

The Cleveland Browns continued to work on the bottom of the roster on Friday by claiming offensive lineman Chris Barker off waivers.

In a corresponding move, the club released defensive lineman Gabe Wright.

The team announced both transactions via their website.

Originally an undrafted free agent out of Nevada, Barker signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2013 and spent the 2016 season on the practice squad for the New England Patriots. (Wonder what he thinks of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo?)

All told, the 6-foot-2 and 305-pound Barker appeared in six regular season games with New England.
