MOBILE, Ala. -- Lions senior personnel executive Brian Xanders was one of two candidates the Browns interviewed Tuesday for their top personnel job, a league source told cleveland.com.
Browns Jimmy Haslam traveled here to help interview the two candidates, the second of which isn't yet known, and then left Tuesday afternoon.
Xanders, the former general manager of the Broncos, is one of several candidates the Browns have interviewed for the position, which is Executive Vice President of Player Personnel. They will not have a general manager this year, and Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown will have final say over the roster.
