Under no circumstances should a normal team keep their head coach after a winless season. The Cleveland Browns, however, are no normal team. Not only did they choose to retain Hue Jackson after a winless season, but they chose to retain him after two seasons with only one win to show for it.
The Browns were so enthralled with the signing of Jackson in January 2016, that they decided to give him one more shot.
Perhaps the roster wasn’t good enough the past two years, and none of this was Jackson’s fault. Maybe this was all a big misunderstanding, and Jackson can win with a solid roster.
