I'm not going to dwell on the obvious, which is that Manziel and the Browns need a divorce.
It can be in terms of being cut, which can happen as soon as February 8. Or perhaps a trade -- the soonest that can take place is March 9.
But my point is he needs to start fresh, and not just with a new team.
The quarterback spent more than 10 weeks in a rehabilitation center right after the 2014 season.
