CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Something is wrong with the Browns running game, and something has been wrong with it for the last 19 games.
Much was made of Kyle Shanahan's impact on the Browns running game last season, along with the new zone blocking scheme. It paid off immediately.
Consider the following:
1. In the first five games of 2014, the Browns averaged 144 yards rushing. They had three backs -- Ben Tate, Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell. The opponents in those first five games were Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Baltimore, Tennessee and Pittsburgh again. So they played three AFC North games.
