The Cleveland Browns fired John Dorsey Tuesday after two seasons as Cleveland's general manager, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The Browns were 15-18-1 during Dorsey's two full seasons as the Browns general manager.
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam wanted to restructure Cleveland's front office, which likely would have taken power away from Dorsey. Dorsey declined and the two sides agreed to mutually part ways.
The Browns front office has dealt with dysfunction for the past several months as Dorsey and his regime have had issues with Cleveland's analytics staff.
