Saturday is the deadline for NFL teams to cut their roster down to 53 players, which makes the two days following the final preseason game incredibly tough for those trying to realize their pro football dream.
Fortunately for one member of the Cleveland Browns, he gets to continue pursuing that dream even though he won’t make it to their opening weekend roster. Undrafted rookie David Blough found himself in some tough competition as he was battling Garret Gilbert for the final quarterback spot in Cleveland.
He played well, but Gilbert was better an won the job.
