In what was a rather interesting piece, Erik Lambert of NFL Mocks looked at the biggest tease at quarterback in every NFL team’s history. That tease simply meant that the franchise thought they had their guy, only to be let down. Cleveland Browns fans can probably debate about who such a player for them would have been and several names could pop up in that discussion.
As for Lambert, he found the biggest tease for Cleveland to be none other than Brian Sipe, the NFL MVP back in 1980.
Sipe saw it all come together that season and was honored by the NFL for his work, unfortunately his success didn’t extend much beyond that season.
