Cleveland Browns linebacker Armonty Bryant has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 NFL regular season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing substances.
Bryant will be eligible to participate in the team’s offseason, training camp and preseason games.
The Browns announced the suspension on the team’s website.
Bryant was indicted on Feb. 10 on felony drug charges stemming from a traffic stop on a Cleveland-area highway on Christmas morning. The charges were revealed in an indictment from the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, and Bryant was indicted on two counts of felony drug possession, according to newsnet5.
