The Cleveland Browns are scheduled to begin their training camp on July 28th. Reporting will be staggered with rookies reporting first, then injured veterans, and then followed by the rest of the roster.
Everyone will undergo Covid-19 testing two days before they will be allowed to participate. Surely 2020 will just let everything go forward as planned.
Assuming that everything remains all systems go between now and training camp, the Browns will have some big decisions to make. Some of the positional groups will have rooms that will need to be thinned out. Also, with two less preseason games than they normally have to evaluate a roster, the front office and the coaching staff will be making some of these cuts based on philosophy and prognostication rather than on-field performance.
