Heading into the 2019 offseason, there have been calls for the Cleveland Browns to land another wideout, which makes sense. Now that Baker Mayfield is entrenched as the starting quarterback, it would be good to get him a legitimate No. 1 threat that can grow alongside him as a pro. This has led to some speculation about a wideout with the No. 17 overall pick for the Browns, but that doesn’t need to be the case.
While it’s true Cleveland would do well to find themselves more offensive firepower, they don’t need to make a splash play necessarily.
