We all knew things were going to change with general manager John Dorsey in charge. He joined the Cleveland Browns and immediately went after the previous regime’s work, claiming they didn’t get ‘real’ football players.
He proved that he wasn’t just blowing smoke when he started making moves at a rapid pace. Not only did he get rid of all the quarterbacks from the previous year, but he overturned the running back depth chart, the defensive tackles and the secondary.
In all, there was a point this weekend where 31 of the 53 players on the roster were new to the team according to Scott Petrak of Browns Zone — that’s always subject to change as the final 53 is anything but final.
