CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns linebacker Christian Kirksey finally became a fulltime starter last season and now he's being paid like it.
And now, he'll also be adding outside linebacker to his repertoire in Gregg Williams new defense.
Kirksey, the Browns third-round pick in 2014 out of Iowa, signed a four-year deal with the Browns worth $38 million, a league source said. He was heading into the final year of his rookie contract.
"I love Cleveland,'' Kirskey said last week at the Cleveland Browns Foundation golf outing when asked if he wants to stay. "Cleveland's a good city.
