Cardale Jones traded by Buffalo Bills

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cardale Jones, the Ohio State quarterback who jumped from third-stringer to National Championship starter for the Buckeyes during the 2014 season, has a new NFL home.

Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round in 2016, Jones has been traded to the Los Angeles Chargers. He'll join two former OSU teammates there in defensive end Joey Bosa and linebacker Joshua Perry.

Jones played one game for the Bills during his rookie season, completing 6 of 11 passes for 96 yards.

Jones served as the Bills' third-string quarterback behind starter Tyrod Taylor and former first-round pick E.
