CLEVELAND - Cleveland Browns center Cameron Erving left FirstEnergy Stadium in an ambulance after the Browns' 25-20 loss to Baltimore on Sunday.
The team said in a statement that Erving was taken to University Hospital as a precaution. Erving was brought out of the locker room on a stretcher with his head immobilized.
The ambulance was backed up to the locker room door, which is not typical.
The team released a statement that read: "Erving was experiencing cramps toward the end of the game, as well as discomfort in his chest and ribs. He is in stable condition and is undergoing further testing at University Hospitals.
