Adam Caplan reports that the Browns brought in free agent DE Ian Seau, CB JaCorey Shepherd, and LB Garrett Sickels for workouts on Friday.
Shepherd, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Eagles. He signed a four-year, $2,401,112 contract with Philadelphia and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.
Shepherd, unfortunately, sustained a torn right ACL and subsequently missed the entire 2015 season. He was one and off of the Eagles’ practice squad last year before signing a two-year contract with the 49ers.
