BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns could have a second chance to land quarterback Robert Griffin III. After not being able to work out a trade with the St. Louis Rams to move up to the number two overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Browns could sign the former Washington Redskins quarterback as a free agent.
According to reports, RG-3 visited the Browns on Saturday. Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports was the first to report about RG-3’s visit with the Browns.
Griffin III is looking to revive his career after being benched by Redskins head coach Jay Gruden last season in favor of Kirk Cousins, who was also selected by Washington in the 2012 NFL Draft.
