Browns training camp snapshot (Day 10): Corey Coleman not yet ruled out for preseason opener; coach points to injury history as reason for precaution

Tuesday’s developments

• Rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman sat out his third consecutive practice with a left hamstring injury, but coach Hue Jackson hasn’t ruled out the first-round draft pick for Friday’s preseason opener on the road against the Green Bay Packers. “There’s a chance he can play. There’s still a chance,” Jackson said. “So we’ll probably go up through tomorrow before I make decision about that because he knows our offense, he knows what we’re doing and I think he’ll be fine. But I’m going to be very cautious.”

• Wide receivers coach Al Saunders pointed out the Browns are being careful with Coleman partly because of his injury history.
