One of the Cleveland Browns' undrafted free-agent signees has quite a pedigree.
Mike Matthews, son of Hall of Fame lineman Bruce Matthews and nephew of Browns longtime linebacker Clay Matthews, will be joining the Browns, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Matthews, a center, first must compete to make the team. If he does, he then will be in the mix to succeed Alex Mack.
Matthews' older brother Jake is a starting offensive tackle and a former first round pick for the Atlanta Falcons.
Mike Matthews started for three years and did not give up a sack in the past two seasons.
